IKEA releases festive mega meatball

This festive season, meatball maestros IKEA are offering the ultimate Christmas dinner centre piece – their first ever turkey-sized meatball.

Weighing an extraordinary 4.5kg, the dinnertime delight comes ready-prepared to cook, with IKEA’s traditional lingonberry jam and creamy sauce to accompany it.

The meatball comes as limited stock exclusively in IKEA, however, lovers of the brand’s iconic meatballs have the chance to get their hands on it through IKEA’s social media channels and an in-store competition.

Non-meat eaters don’t need to fear missing out either – as the retailer is also offering a ‘Veggieball Christmas Tree’ kit. Containing a cone shaped base and lots of veggie meatballs, buyers can create their own alternative seasonal-sensation for the table.
