Xbox are once again challenging gaming stereotypes and championing accessible gaming; debuting four new disability-friendly options at this year’s Gamescom in Cologne!
Microsoft’s Xbox have announced the release of their new Adaptive Joystick and Adaptive Thumbtack toppers that will be available to the public in early 2025. The products aim to cater to various motility needs, allowing gamers to use their chin or feet to play their favourite games, comfortably.
“The Adaptive Joystick is more than a piece of hardware; it’s a statement. It’s about inclusivity, empowerment and giving more people access to gaming. Because when everybody plays, we all win. This campaign celebrates the Xbox community and how they play, and we hope it will inspire more people to discover the joy of gaming.”
The products have been designed in partnership with disabled players and allow them to play in ways that are uniquely their own!
