Pop-Tarts release a giant ‘Party Pastry’ to celebrate 60th anniversary

Pop-Tarts is marking its 60th anniversary with a colossal creation—the Party Pastry. This massive breakfast treat, 73 times larger than the original Pop-Tart, was unveiled for one day only on August 7 in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago.
The limited-edition Party Pastry is a towering version of the classic Strawberry Pop-Tart, with the same golden crust, strawberry filling and sweet frosting – reportedly serving up to 73 people!
Priced at $60, including delivery in a three-foot-tall box, this giant pastry was available online in “hyper-limited” quantities. Fans also had the option to customise the icing with a personal message.
Heidi Ray, senior director of marketing at Pop-Tarts, noted, “If you’re one of our fans that misses the nostalgia of childhood summers when you could practically smell the freedom in the air, the Pop-Tarts Party Pastry is for you.
